“In the eternal order of our universe, everything is destined to return to harmony and balance.
Our natural state is one of well-being, a default setting that defines us. Hold onto your strength during moments of darkness, for the light will inevitably resurface. It always finds its way back.”
Life, oh life! It can be a wild ride, right? One moment, you're riding high on the wave of success, only to be crushed by the depths of unexpected challenges the next. It's like navigating a minefield, filled with twists and turns that can leave you feeling disoriented and wondering what on earth is going on!
And let's not forget about the emotional rollercoaster. One day, you're on top of the world, feeling like nothing can stop you. But then, for some inexplicable reason, you find yourself struggling to even get out of bed the next morning. It's like the universe is playing a cosmic game with our emotions.
But worry not! There's an explanation for this seemingly chaotic dance. Welcome to the enchanting world of universal laws, where it can seem like one minute everything falls perfectly into place then suddenly the very same task, project or goal becomes a challenge, with no rational explanation.
So, buckle up as we dive into the mystical forces that shape our lives and uncover the secrets behind these ups and downs that can leave you feeling perplexed, overwhelmed and questioning whether it's all worth it.
Every day, these laws are doing their thing, influencing us more than we realise. It's like having a superpower, but if you don't know how to use it, life can feel like a puzzle missing a few pieces. I've got one of the missing pieces for you to understand why life can feel like a rollercoaster and more importantly, how you can enjoy the ride.
Buckle up!
First things first, think of universal laws like the cosmic rules that keep this universe ticking. They're not good or bad, just the guidelines for this incredible journey we're on.
Now, let's keep it simple. You know the law of gravity exists, right? We all get that what goes up must come down. It's the universe's way of keeping us grounded, literally, and because we're in the know, we gracefully stroll out the door instead of contemplating a dramatic exit from the upstairs window. Safety first!
But here's the thing; even though the laws aren't something you can touch, see, or taste, they're like an energetic pulse that makes everything click into place.
Now, let's dive into the enchanting world of the law of rhythm, where everything flows with the grace of a dance, where all things have their tides, rising and falling in a rhythmic symphony.
To paint a picture, think of a pendulum swinging to the right, only to sway back to the left with equal measure. What ascends must also descend. The universe is like an energetic flow, a constant motion of swinging back and forth.
This divine law isn't just some cosmic concept; it's woven into our everyday lives. Day embraces night, and night, in turn, welcomes the day. The Law of Rhythm orchestrates the natural highs and lows, ensuring that for every exhilarating peak, there's an equally gentle low.
In the economy, every downturn is followed by a boom, and every boom transitions into a downturn. It's the cosmic law of balance – a swing in one direction inevitably meets its equal opposite swing.
What's truly magical about embracing the Law of Rhythm is the comforting assurance that even in the darkest moments, it's just a fleeting phase. The rhythm compensates, promising an equal and opposite reaction to whatever you're feeling. This too shall pass – not just a saying, but a law-bound truth.
Now, let me share a personal journey with you. When the idea for my book blossomed, I was like a spirited dancer, ideas flowing effortlessly, and words pouring out like a waterfall. My fingertips struggled to keep up with the inspiration I was feeling – a true high.
Yet, as the law dictates, after every high comes an equal low. A few months in, whilst I was still motivated, it felt heavier. The words didn't flow as easily as they had previously.
But here's the revelation – armed with the knowledge of how our minds operate and the rhythm of the universe, giving up wasn't the obvious choice. I knew this ebb was just part of the natural flow, and soon enough, I would find myself in the peak again... if I just kept going. It's law!
This truth extends beyond me writing a book; it's universal in business, health, relationships, career and even hobbies.
We often witness it in the lives of celebrities and sports stars, those breath-taking highs followed by equally intense lows. Some find it challenging to navigate this rollercoaster which can lead to seeking solace outside of themselves to recreate those exhilarating moments. The highs can even become a little addictive. The higher the high, the lower the low that follows.
This law, while not the entire masterpiece, is a divine brushstroke worth embracing for a more harmonious life.
Think of life as a seesaw. Those magnificent highs can sometimes lose their sparkle when followed by a bit of a crash-and-burn moment. So, how do we gracefully surf the waves of life without burning out?
Firstly, understand that neither end of the scale is right or wrong; it's all part of life's beautiful cycle. It's just like the rest between gym sets or complete rest days – the 'downtime' is essential for our muscles to perform at their peak.
The low isn't just something we have to get through and tolerate, it's part of the entire system - the thing we call life! Easy to say when things are on the up right?
How can you navigate the inevitable highs and lows?

Each end of the scale exists in tandem with the other, forming a harmonious whole. This truth extends across all aspects of life. Deeming the opposing end, the flip side of your desires as wrong is what gives them their perceived negativity.
Embrace the understanding that the 'lows' are integral components of the growth process.
In life, we often find ourselves battling against the tide, pushing against the current. But have you ever considered that by resisting, we only make our struggles persist? I invite you to change your approach.
Let's face it - when you push at something, it pushes right back at you. Instead of fighting against the tide, welcome it with open arms. Embrace every part of your journey, knowing that hidden within each trial is a valuable lesson waiting to be revealed. By allowing yourself to wholeheartedly embrace these challenges, you open the door to endless possibilities.
When you're on cloud nine, relish the joy, and also seek moments of serenity. During the excitement, find peace and indulge in activities that ground you:
Nature walk - Fresh air and connection
Bubble bath - Soothe your body and mind
Meditation session - Quiet your mind and enjoy inner peace and calm
You're energetically balancing those scales.
When life takes you to the lower end of the scale, it's time to practice staying committed. In those moments when surrendering feels easy, that's when focus becomes paramount.
Make a short list of things within your control – it might be brief and that's perfectly okay.
Commit to working only on those during the low times.
While you do that, keep your dreams alive, knowing that this momentary low is just a passing breeze.
By directing your focus toward the positive dreams you crave, you infuse balance and harmony into the not-so-great feeling end of the scale. The more you dance with this rhythm, the quicker it all passes, because there won't be those daunting extremes to grapple with.
Knowing that a dip is going to come at some point, plan for it in advance. Have tools in place that you can tap into easily to keep you feeling as good as possible. Mentally rehearse yourself getting through the days when things don't seem to flow as easily - visualise yourself finding solutions and coming out the other end stronger and proud of yourself.
Always keep in mind that wherever you are on the scale at any moment, it's just a single moment of something much bigger. Taking a moment to zoom out and appreciate the bigger dance at play will shift your perspective so you can, twirl through the highs, swing through the lows and dance to the rhythm of your beautifully balanced life.
